Day of Judgement

DAY OF JUDGEMENT

DAY OF RECKONING
DAY OF ACCOUNTABILITY

THIS IS A SAMPLE STUDY
(1-2) All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (1-3) The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. (1-4.) The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection).

Accountability is certain (2-281) And be afraid of the Day when you shall be brought back to Allah. Then every person shall be paid what he earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly
(36-54) This Day (Day of Resurrection), none will be wronged in anything, nor will you be requited anything except that which you used to do.

No Escape from Justice
(2-48) And fear a Day (of Judgement) when a person shall not avail another, nor will intercession be accepted from him nor will compensation be taken from him nor will they be helped.

Everyone Will Only Pay for His Own Deeds
(2-48) And fear a Day (of Judgement) when a person shall not avail another, nor will intercession be accepted from him nor will compensation be taken from him nor will they be helped. (2-123) And fear the Day (of Judgement) when no person shall avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from him, nor shall intercession be of use to him, nor shall they be helped. (2-134) That was a nation who has passed away. They shall receive the reward of what they earned and you of what you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do. (2-281) And be afraid of the Day when you shall be brought back to Allah. Then every person shall be paid what he earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. (2-286) Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned.

(3-185) Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).

(23-62) And We tax not any person except according to his capacity, and with Us is a Record which speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged.

(45-15) Whosoever does a good deed, it is for his ownself, and whosoever does evil, it is against (his ownself). Then to your Lord you will be made to return. (23-102) Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, – these, they are the successful. (23-103) And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide.

Absolute Justice Will Be Done
(21-47) And We shall set up balances of justice on the Day of Resurrection, then none will be dealt with unjustly in anything. And if there be the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it. And Sufficient are We as Reckoners.

Good and bad deeds equal to weight of atom will be seen. (99-1) When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. (99-2) And when the earth throws out its burdens. (99-3) And man will say: “What is the matter with it?” (99-4) That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). (99-5) Because your Lord has inspired it. (99-6) That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. (99-7) So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. (99-8) And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. (53-38) That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. (53-39) And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). (53-40) And that his deeds will be seen. (53-41) Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense(53-42) And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything).

(53-49)  Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). (53-50) And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. (53-52) And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). (53-53) And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Qur’an V.57:22).

PEOPLE WILL BE DIVIDED INTO THREE CLASSES
Those on the Right Hand (56-8) (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). And those on the Left Hand (56-9) (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). And those foremost (56-10) [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise).

First Category- SABIQOON
(56-10) And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). (56-11) These will be those nearest to Allah. (56-12) In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). (56-13)

A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). (56-14) And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). (56-15) (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, (56-16) Reclining thereon, face to face. (56-17) They will be served by immortal boys, (56-18) With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, (56-19) Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. (56-20) And fruit; that they may choose. (56-21) And the flesh of fowls that they desire. (56-22) And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), (56-23) Like unto preserved pearls. (56-24) A reward for what they used to do. (56-25) No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). (56-26) But only the saying of: Salam!, Salam! (greetings with peace) !

Second Category- Those who Get Result card in Their right Hand
(56-27) And those on the Right Hand, – Who will be those on the Right Hand? (56-28) (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, (56-29) Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, (56-30) In shade long-extended, (56-31) By water flowing constantly, (56-32) And fruit in plenty, (56-33) Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off,  (56-34) And on couches or thrones, raised high.  (56-35) Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation.  (56-36) And made them virgins. (56-37) Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. (56-38) For those on the Right Hand. (56-39) A multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will be from the first generation (who embraced Islam). (56-40)And a multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will be from the later times

Third category- Those who get their Result Card in Left hand
(56-41) And those on the Left Hand Who will be those on the Left Hand? (56-42) In fierce hot wind and boiling water, (56-43) And shadow of black smoke, (56-44) (That shadow) neither cool, nor (even) good, (56-45) Verily, before that, they indulged in luxury, (56-46) And were persisting in great sin (joining partners in worship along with Allah, committing murders and other crimes, etc.) (56-47) And they used to say: “When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be resurrected? (56-48) “And also our forefathers?” (56-49) Say (O Muhammad ): “(Yes) verily, those of old, and those of later times. (56-50) “All will surely be gathered together for appointed Meeting of a known Day. (56-51) “Then moreover, verily, you the erring-ones, the deniers (of Resurrection)! (56-52) “You verily will eat of the trees of Zaqqum. (56-53) “Then you will fill your bellies therewith, (56-54)“And drink boiling water on top of it, (56-55) “So you will drink (that) like thirsty camels!” (56-56) That will be their entertainment on the Day of Recompense!

Reward of  Good people
(52-17) Verily, the Muttaqun (pious – see V.2:2) will be in Gardens (Paradise), and Delight. (52-18) Enjoying in that which their Lord has bestowed on them, and (the fact that) their Lord saved them from the torment of the blazing Fire. (52-19) “Eat and drink with happiness because of what you used to do”. (52-20) They will recline (with ease) on thrones arranged in ranks. And We shall marry them to Houris (female, fair ones) with wide lovely eyes. (52-21) And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in Faith, to them shall We join their offspring, and We shall not decrease the reward of their deeds in anything. Every person is a pledge for that which he has earned. (52-22) And We shall provide them with fruit and meat, such as they desire. (52-23) There they shall pass from hand to hand a (wine) cup, free from any Laghw (dirty, false, evil vague talk between them), and free from sin (because it will be legal for them to drink). (52-24) And there will go round boy-servants of theirs, to serve them as if they were preserved pearls. (52-25) And some of them draw near to others, questioning. (52-26) Saying: “Aforetime, we were afraid with our families (from the punishment of Allah). (52-27) “But Allah has been gracious to us, and has saved us from the torment of the Fire. (52-28) “Verily, We used to invoke Him (Alone and none else) before. Verily, He is Al-Barr (the Most Subtle, Kind, Courteous, and Generous), the Most Merciful.”
(54-52) And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). (54-53) And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Qur’an V.57:22). (54-54) Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). (54-55) In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour).

(3-185) Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).

(10-4) To Him is the return of all of you. The Promise of Allah is true. It is He Who begins the creation and then will repeat it, that He may reward with justice those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism) and did deeds of righteousness. But those who disbelieved will have a drink of boiling fluids and painful torment because they used to disbelieve (10-44) Truly! Allah wrongs not mankind in aught; but mankind wrong themselves. (10-45) And on the Day when He shall gather (resurrect) them together, (it will be) as if they had not stayed (in the life of this world and graves, etc.) but an hour of a day. They will recognise each other. Ruined indeed will be those who denied the meeting with Allah, and were not guided.

(18-46) Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world. But the good righteous deeds (five compulsory prayers, deeds of Allah’s obedience, good and nice talk, remembrance of Allah with glorification, praises and thanks, etc.), that last, are better with your Lord for rewards and better in respect of hope. (18-47) And (remember) the Day We shall cause the mountains to pass away (like clouds of dust), and you will see the earth as a levelled plain, and we shall gather them all together so as to leave not one of them behind. (18-48) And they will be set before your Lord in (lines as) rows, (and Allah will say): “Now indeed, you have come to Us as We created you the first time. Nay, but you thought that We had appointed no meeting for you (with Us)”. (18-49) And the Book (one’s Record) will be placed (in the right hand for a believer in the Oneness of Allah, and in the left hand for a disbeliever in the Oneness of Allah), and you will see the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.), fearful of that which is (recorded) therein. They will say: “Woe to us! What sort of Book is this that leaves neither a small thing nor a big thing, but has recorded it with numbers!” And they will find all that they did, placed before them, and your Lord treats no one with injustice.

(21-47) And We shall set up balances of justice on the Day of Resurrection, then none will be dealt with unjustly in anything. And if there be the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it. And Sufficient are We as Reckoners.

(23-12) And indeed We created man (Adam) out of an extract of clay (water and earth). (23-13) Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). (23-14)Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators. (23-15)After that, surely, you will die. (23-16) Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection.

(36-51) And the Trumpet will be blown (i.e. the second blowing) and behold! From the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord. (36-52) They will say: “Woe to us! Who has raised us up from our place of sleep.” (It will be said to them): “This is what the Most Beneficent (Allah) had promised, and the Messengers spoke truth!” (36-53) It will be but a single Saihah (shout, etc.), so behold! They will all be brought up before Us! (36-54) This Day (Day of Resurrection), none will be wronged in anything, nor will you be requited anything except that which you used to do. (36-55) Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day, will be busy in joyful things. (36-56) They and their wives will be in pleasant shade, reclining on thrones. (36-57) They will have therein fruits (of all kinds) and all that they ask for. (36-58) (It will be said to them): Salamun (peace be on you), a Word from the Lord (Allah), Most Merciful.

(25-25) And (remember) the Day when the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and the angels will be sent down, with a grand descending. (25-26) The sovereignty on that Day will be the true (sovereignty), belonging to the Most Beneficent (Allah), and it will be a hard Day for the disbelievers (those who disbelieve in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism). (25-27) And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: “Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger ( Muhammad ). (25-28) “Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a friend! (25-29) “He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Qur’an) after it had come to me. And Shaitan (Satan) is ever a deserter to man in the hour of need.” (25-34) Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)!

(75-13) On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil or good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions). (75-14) Nay! Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands, legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds]. (75-15) Though he may put forth his excuses (to cover his evil deeds). (75-16) Move not your tongue concerning (the Qur’an, O Muhammad ) to make haste therewith. (75-17) It is for Us to collect it and to give you (O Muhammad ) the ability to recite it (the Qur’an),

(77-35) That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), (77-36) And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. (77-37) Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! (77-38) That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! (77-39) So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! (7-40)Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)!

(78-17) Verily, the Day of Decision is a fixed time, (78-18) The Day when the Trumpet will be blown, and you shall come forth in crowds (groups); (78-19) And the heaven shall be opened, and it will become as gates, (78-20) And the mountains shall be moved away from their places and they will be as if they were a mirage. (78-21) Truly, Hell is a place of ambush, (79-6) On the Day (when the first blowing of the Trumpet is blown), the earth and the mountains will shake violently (and everybody will die),

(79-7) The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be raised up), (79-8) (Some) hearts that Day will shake with fear and anxiety. (79-9) Their eyes cast down. (79-10) They say: “Shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state of life? (79-11) “Even after we are crumbled bones?” (79-12) They say: “It would in that case, be a return with loss!” (79-13) But only, it will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19) (79-14) When, behold, they find themselves over the earth alive after their death.

(82-1) When the heaven is cleft asunder. (82-2) And when the stars have fallen and scattered; (82-3) And when the seas are burst forth; (82-4) And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) (82-5) (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). (82-6) O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? (82-7) Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; (82-8) In whatever form He willed, He put you together. (82-9) Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). (82-10) But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you, (82-11) Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds) (82-12) They know all that you do.

(80-33) Then, when there comes As-Sakhkhah (the Day of Resurrection’s second blowing of Trumpet), (80-34) That Day shall a man flee from his brother, (80-35) And from his mother and his father, (80-36) And from his wife and his children. (80-37) Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others. (80-38) Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). (80-39) Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise). (80-40) And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained; (80-41) Darkness will cover them, (80-42) Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (pbuh), etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers).

(82-1) When the sun Kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown). (82-2) And when the stars shall fall; (82-3) And when the mountains shall made to pass away; (82-4) And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; (82-5) And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; (82-6) And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; (82-7) And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; (82-8) And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. (82-9) For what sin she was killed? (82-10) And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; (82-11) And when the heaven shall be stripped off and taken away from its place; (82-12) And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. (82-13) And when Paradise shall be brought near, (82-14) (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil).

(83-5) On a Great Day, (83-6) The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)? (83-7) Nay! Truly, the Record (writing of the deeds) of the Fujjar (disbelievers, sinners, evil-doers and wicked) is (preserved) in Sijjin. (83-8) And what will make you know what Sijjin is? (83-9) A Register inscribed. (83-10) Woe, that Day, to those who deny [(Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Day of Resurrection, and Al-Qadar (Divine Preordainments)]. (83-11) Those who deny the Day of Recompense. (83-12) And none can deny it except every transgressor beyond bounds, (in disbelief, oppression and disobedience of Allah, the sinner!)

(84-1) When the heaven is split asunder, (84-2) And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; (84-3) And when the earth is stretched forth, (84-4) And has cast out all that was in it and became empty, (84-5) And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; (84-6) O man! Verily, you are returning towards your Lord with your deeds and actions (good or bad), a sure returning, so you will meet (i.e. the results of your deeds which you did). (84-7) Then, as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand, (84-8) He surely will receive an easy reckoning, (84-9) And will return to his family in joy! (84-10) But whosoever is given his Record behind his back, (84-11) He will invoke (his) destruction, (84-12) And shall enter a blazing Fire, and made to taste its burning. (84-13) Verily, he was among his people in joy! (84-14) Verily, he thought that he would never come back (to Us)! (84-15) Yes! Verily, his Lord has been ever beholding him!

(88-21) So remind them (O Muhammad ( )), you are only a one who reminds. (88-22) You are not a dictator over them.

(91-8) Then He showed him what is wrong for him and what is right for him; (91-9) Indeed he succeeds who purifies his ownself (i.e. obeys and performs all that Allah ordered, by following the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds). (91-10) And indeed he fails who corrupts his ownself (i.e. disobeys what Allah has ordered by rejecting the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism or by following polytheism, etc. or by doing every kind of evil wicked deeds).

(95-4) Verily, We created man of the best stature (mould), (95-5) Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low, (95-6) Save those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds, then they shall have a reward without end (Paradise). (95-7) Then what (or who) causes you (O disbelievers) to deny the Recompense (i.e. Day of Resurrection)? (95-8)Is not Allah the Best of judges?
